Construction works are often accompanied by vibrations generated during the use of heavy equipment, construction work, vibrations of steel sheet piles and pile driving. Keeping current vibration level control allows you to protect neighboring buildings from damage. Measurements of vibrations are carried out in order to control the values transferred to buildings through a subsoil, and from traffic, rail or industrial activity.
To assess the impact of vibrations, we most often use DIN 4150-3 Structural Vibration Part3: Effect of vibration on structures, PN-B-02170: 1985 Assessment of the harmfulness of vibrations transmitted by the ground to buildings and PN-B-02171 Evaluation of the impact of vibrations on people in buildings.
